KPDL

Greetings all!

On Thursday, February 17th, CSUSM will be holding a Lunar New Year Celebration for Chinese/Vietnamese New Year. The API community in large collaboration with APIFSA, the Asian Pacific Islander Faculty Staff Association, and Arts&Lectures, in support of Asian Heritage Month, as well as sponsorship from BAPS, Brotherhood Academics Prosperity Strength, are hosting the annual Lunar New Year Celebration.

This year, we will be saying farewell to the Year of the Tiger and hopping into the new year, the Year of the Rabbit. There will be tons of performances from many student organizations and one in particular you should look forward to. The San Diego Lucky Lion Dancers will be performing the traditional lion dance to help reign in luck and prosperity with the new year. Trust me, you do not want to miss this! (Yours truly, ahem, is performing!)

It will take place in University Plaza (in front of University Hall stairs) from 11-2, this Thursday! Swing by University Plaza, meet new people, indulge yourself in this prosperous culture and have a great time. Don’t forget to come by the KPDL table and say hello!
