Today, as president and treasurer, Kayla and Edilynne attended the required SOURCe conference. It is a “workshop” for all organizations of Cal State, and must be attended along with two other workshops to be recognized as an official organization on campus. It was a very informational conference covering subjects essential to any organization, such as reserving rooms for meetings to staying in close contact with SLL and ASI. All organization guidelines were covered.

Along with today’s SOURCe conference, the two other workshops are required to get certification to receive funds from ALFB, the ASI Leadership Funding Board. The two workshops include the ASI Budget workshop and the SLL Event Planning workshop, which will take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays at U-Hour. The ASI Budget workshops unfortunately take place on Tuesdays and Edilynne will not be able to attend due to her class scheduling, so she kindly asks that one of the other officers please attend on behalf of her absence.

These workshops are open to all officers, only requiring one officer to represent the organization. That being said, as a reminder to the general body, there are still a few positions open if you are interested. Don’t hesitate to be part of this legacy.
